The Glasgow Cosmic are one of six confirmed franchises in the European T20 Premier League. The franchise is owned by the Mugafi Group with Tansha Batra.
Ownership & Leadership Consortium
The Mugafi Group, led by Tansha Batra, holds the Glasgow Cosmic franchise. The group has invested in sports entertainment and creative industries across multiple markets, bringing commercial and operational experience to the ETPL ownership structure.
One of T20 cricket’s most iconic and destructive batsmen, Gayle is a six-hitting record holder and franchise cricket pioneer. His co-ownership role at Glasgow Cosmic and appointment as global ETPL ambassador gives the league instant recognition across cricket’s global fan base.
One of Australia’s greatest opening batsmen, Hayden scored over 8,000 Test runs and was a cornerstone of Australia’s dominant side of the early 2000s. He has since built a coaching career, most notably as batting consultant for Pakistan at the 2023 ICC Cricket World Cup.

Cricket & Regional Context
Scotland is an Associate member of the ICC and one of Europe’s most established cricketing nations, having competed in ICC global qualification events. Glasgow, as Scotland’s largest city, is the natural home for the ETPL’s Scottish franchise, alongside Edinburgh giving Scotland two franchise presences in the six-team competition.
Betting Angle & Market Outlook
Glasgow Cosmic betting markets will be available once ETPL outright odds are published closer to the August 2026 season start. Squad composition across all six franchises will be the primary factor shaping outright and match market pricing.
Liam Livingstone and Keshav Maharaj headline the Cosmic’s international group, both worth tracking in top batsman and top bowler markets once published. Chris Gayle and Matthew Hayden’s ownership involvement (not playing roles) means their profile does not translate into on-field player markets.
